My story

Meet Winnie, an adorable brindle Heinz 57 cutie! She’s full of personality and all about playtime—her favorite thing in the world is having a furry friend to romp around with. Because of her medium to high energy play style, she would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her enthusiasm. She absolutely adores kids and loves being part of the action, but she can get a little too excited when saying hello—so a home with older children would be the best fit to keep everyone safe and happy. When she’s not busy playing, she’s a total cuddle bug. If given the choice, she’d happily spend the whole day snuggled up with her person. She’s both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. Toys are her love language—especially squeaky ones! Be ready to stock up, because she’ll happily squeak them all day long, and it brings her so much joy. She already knows basic commands like sit, down, no, and off, and she walks nicely on a leash. She does bark to alert you when something seems out of the ordinary, so she would do best in a home (no apartments or townhomes) with a good-sized yard where she can run and get her wiggles out. This sweet, playful girl is looking for a loving home that will embrace her energy, her cuddles, and her big joyful personality.
