My story

Meet Darrell Darrell is a handsome Belgian Malinois with brains, heart, and boundless energy to spare. Smart, curious, and endlessly enthusiastic, this boy approaches life with the kind of zest that makes every day an adventure. And if you want to win him over fast? Just bring treats — they're absolutely his love language. Don't let his high-drive breed fool you into thinking he's all business, though. Darrell has a wonderfully gentle and thoughtful side. He's been patient and kind with an 8-year-old child, striking that perfect balance between playful companion and careful friend — a testament to just how tuned-in he really is. When it comes to the practical stuff, Darrell is already ahead of the curve. He's crate-trained, appears mostly housebroken, and is a surprisingly calm travel companion — he's proven he can handle Northern Virginia rush-hour traffic like a seasoned commuter, riding comfortably through trips of an hour or more. Outside, Darrell truly comes alive. He thrives on walks, runs, and outdoor adventures, and loves nothing more than putting that brilliant Malinois mind to work — whether he's tackling a wobble feeder or sniffing out hidden treats scattered across the yard. Active, loyal, and fun to train, Darrell is ready to be your devoted partner in crime.
