My story

Hi! I’m Cookie, a beautiful Chow girl with a sweet personality. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I settle in quickly and enjoy being around those I trust. Once I’m comfortable, I’m happy to relax by your side, go for leisurely walks, and enjoy the simple things in life. I would do best in a home that understands and appreciates the Chow breed and will give me time to adjust at my own pace. I’m looking for a family with older children or adults who will respect my space and help me continue building confidence in a gentle, positive environment. I may be open to having a dog sibling, especially one who is calm, friendly, and respectful like me. I’d love the chance to meet any potential canine companions, and the whole family — to make sure we’re a good match. I’m also eligible for the staycation program, which gives us the opportunity to get to know each other in a home setting before making things official.
