Charlie

My story

I got Charlie and his brother about two years ago. They were born feral but picked up by the Humane Society at a very young age, and as a result are partially socialized. They are afraid of humans but their fear of me subsided pretty quickly. Charlie doesn't really understand how to interact well with humans, but he does like to play and sometimes likes to sit in my lap or sleep on me. He prefers to be outside most of the time. They have had few interactions with other cats; Charlie was territorial with another cat outside and would sometimes play too hard with his brother. Charlie's brother Bravo was killed by a predator a few weeks ago. As a result, I no longer feel it is safe to allow Charlie outside unsupervised in this area. He is very unhappy with this new reality and his constant desire to be free outside is causing a lot of friction. If you live in a safe area, especially if you have a cat door, maybe Charlie can have the life he needs with you.
