My story

This is Peaches, a 2 year old, female, orange domestic shorthair. This sweet girl has a big personality and a soul for adventure, wanting to climb or crawl into every nook she can find. Through her explorations, you can expect them to be accompanied by a live commentary as our vocal Peaches loves to voice every thought and loves to let you know about it. An affectionate girl that loves to rub against you legs, curl up beside you and gift your with headbutts, Peaches is a gentle cat that loves to love, although everyone comes second place when put up against her first love, food! Peaches loves attentions, and would prefer a household with no other pets so all the attention can be kept on herself. If you`re looking for a funny, loving companion to shadow you around the home, come say hello.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
