My story

Lizzie is looking for a loving home! Things the team knows about me: - I have been in a foster home since coming to the shelter, and I love it there SO much because I get lots of attention and love! - I LOVE being around people! - I am very smart. - I love to cuddle on the couch. - I am learning how to walk better on a leash (I'm just so strong, excited and full of energy!) - I would need to do a meet-and-greet with any other dogs before coming home with you! - I am NOT good with cats and other animals. A note from my foster: " Lizzie has loved every single person that she has met and she is getting accustomed to our horses, llamas and alpacas, too! She’s still not a fan of cats, unfortunately, but she is showing a lot of friendly interest in other dogs. She is continuing to learn better leash manners and has still never had one potty accident in our home! She is super curious about sounds, especially music and cocks her head side to side watching television. She is loving her favorite ball and human snuggles the most. She might howl for a minute after I leave her, but settles quickly. Lizzie will make a great companion." Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam.
