Say hello to Sammy!This lovable 6-year-old pibble is ready to steal your heart and start the next beautiful chapter of his life. ????Sammy is one of three dogs who recently arrived at our shelter through a wonderful shelter-swap program, giving long-stay pets a new opportunity to meet families who might be the perfect match. Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery to find forever! ????Sammy’s past hasn’t been easy. He was left behind in a crate with another dog and no food after his owner was incarcerated. ?? Thankfully, he was rescued just in time. Even though he arrived underweight, Sammy’s spirit was still shining — and now he’s gaining weight, building confidence, and letting his joyful personality bloom. ???His previous shelter described him as:?? Incredibly kind? Energetic?? Snack-motivated?? Very smartThis sweet guy has mastered sit, lie down, and has one of the best “stay” commands you’ll ever see!
