Doughy

My story

We are looking to rehome our 1 year and 7 month old Coonhound. She is very sweet and affectionate, and she absolutely loves people. Her favorite things are lying under the sun and taking cozy naps. She enjoys cuddling and will happily give you unlimited kisses.She does well with other dogs but prefers human companionship. She is not comfortable around young male puppies, but if she feels uncomfortable, she simply walks away.She knows basic commands like “sit” and is house-trained. She does best when she has easy access to the outdoors, as she enjoys spending time outside. We have had her since last July, and we are her third owner. Because of her past, she has some separation anxiety. We suspect a previous owner may have tried to train her as a hunting dog. She does not like loud noises or raised male voices, which may make her nervous.We truly love her, but we believe she would thrive best as the only dog in a calm home where she can receive more individual attention.
