Meet Seuss: Social, Friendly, Playful! 💙 He is settling in great and showing everyone what a good boy he is! 🤗 Seuss is super friendly and loves making new friends. 🐶 He has been amazing with everyone he meets—including adults and kids! 🐾 Seuss is dog-friendly and enjoys canine company. 🚶‍♂️ He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out and about. 🫶 Belly rubs and butt scratches? Seuss says, yes, please! 🎓 Seuss knows his basics: Come, sit, stay, and lay down. Seuss is a friendly and adaptable companion who is ready to bring a lot of joy to your home. Whether he is meeting new people or looking for a playmate, he has a social nature that makes him such a good boy! Seuss is basically the total package — sweet, smart, social, and ready to be your best friend!❤️ * Seuss is Lyme positive (non-contagious). Treatment is typically 28 days of doxycycline (an inexpensive antibiotic). Dogs with Lyme may always test positive even if treated. The adopter is responsible for treatment, including cost. Its always a good idea to plan to keep your dog on a joint supplement for life. Requirements And Donations - Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS). - Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. - Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies. - Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available. Location And Hours - Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 10 AM-4 PM. - We also host adoption events throughout our community.
