My story

Meet Emerald 💚 Emerald is a gorgeous young cat with a loving heart and a playful spirit. She truly enjoys being with her people—whether she’s greeting visitors, curling up in your lap, or snuggling in bed at night. She’s social, sweet, and affectionate, and once she settles in, she loves to be part of whatever you’re doing. Emerald has also done well with other cats and may enjoy a feline friend in her new home. Emerald can be a little nervous at first in new places, but it doesn’t take long for her warm personality to shine through. Once she feels comfortable, she’s a devoted companion who will happily keep you company throughout the day. Emerald has been diagnosed with feline asthma, a condition that can cause occasional coughing or breathing flare-ups due to inflammation in the airways. Right now, she is doing well and is not currently on medication, but asthma can be a lifelong condition that sometimes requires treatment such as inhalers if symptoms change over time. She’s looking for an adopter who is prepared to monitor her breathing and partner with a veterinarian if care is needed in the future. In return, Emerald will give you endless companionship, cozy snuggles, and the joy of sharing your home with a truly special cat. She’s ready to find the family who will love her just as much as she’ll love them🐾
