Gabby

My story

Gabby (Gabrielle) was my grandma’s cat that she adopted as a kitten and had for 14 years. My grandma passed away, and Gabby will need a new home, as I live across the country and can’t take her back with me. Gabby loved brushing, pets, and sitting with my grandma. She needs regular brushing but she’s good with it. She was declawed as a kitten. While she’s older, her health hasn’t slowed down yet. She has been licking her hair a little bald since she’s been without my grandma for over a month, but this is something we expect to stop once she’s settled in a new home. Gabby has lived with several cats of all ages and would do well in a home either with her sister cat Lily or in a household with other cats. She has never lived with dogs but may be okay with slow, proper introductions. My grandma free fed her, so she could stand to lose a few pounds. I am not sure when she went to the vet last, but we will get her records sent to her forever home.
