My story

Edith is such a wonderful lil lady. Adopted 15 months ago- she is a puppy mill mom who was kept in a kennel for 7 years. It has been amazing to watch her grow- learning steps, great at walks, bonding with other dogs (very curious, we have been working on introductions with new dogs- too excited, needs more socialization). She is a very quirky lady- snorts around when digging in blankets, sleeps with her head on the pillow next to me, poops while walking, afraid of her reflection- mirrors and shiny objects. Loves walks- hates the cold. Sleeps most of the day- gets random burst of really cute playfulness around 4:00pm. She will wake you up around 6:30am to go potty and will go right back to bed. Fenced in yard is best- she loves to run around. She may take a bit of time to adjust- following you around the house with curiosity. I recently had unexpected cervical spine surgery and am not able to give her the care she deserves. She has brought so much joy to my life.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Edith, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
