My story

Meet Dozer, a 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a big heart.Dozer has been with me since he was a puppy. He loves cuddles and being near his humans.Dozer is friendly and affectionate, great with kids, and a total goofball. He loves to play ball, although returning it is optional. He knows basic commands including sit, stay, and lay down.Dozer is a strong dog at approximately 90 pounds and has a lot of enthusiasm. He would benefit from consistent leash training and with someone who has experience handling larger dogs.Dozer is playful but sometimes plays too rough with other dogs. He would do best as the only dog, or with an experienced owner who can manage introductions and play.Dozer would do best in a home where he gets daily exercise and attention. He is vaccinated and up to date, crate trained, and not neutered. This is a difficult decision for us. But with a new baby and another dog, we are no longer able to give Dozer the time, exercise, and structure he truly deserves.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dozer, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
