My story

*We will not be hosting an adoption event on May 2nd. Instead, we will offer private adoption appointments for approved applicants April 27-May 3.* Jenny is a gentle little soul with a heart full of quiet sweetness. At first meeting, she tends to hang back, observing the world with wide, thoughtful eyes, taking her time to feel safe in new surroundings. Her shy and reserved nature just means she’s careful with her trust—but once you’ve earned it, she blossoms beautifully. Underneath that initial timidity is a deeply cuddly kitten who adores soft moments and warm laps. When she feels comfortable, Jenny leans in for affection, purring softly and snuggling close as if she’s been yours forever. She has a calm, tender presence and would thrive in a patient home that understands her need for a little time to come out of her shell. With a bit of love and reassurance, Jenny transforms from a quiet observer into a devoted, affectionate companion who will reward your kindness with the sweetest cuddles. Jenny is a 6-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This cat's adoption fee is $300 and includes vaccinations, microchip, spay, and FeLV/FIV test. We would love for you to meet this kitten and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
