My story

Meet Silverware FKA Silver! Silverware’s story is one of resilience and hope. He spent 269 days at Queens ACC as their longest stay dog, waiting patiently for someone to see just how special he is. And through it all, he’s remained the sweetest boy. At 5 years old and 72 lbs, Silverware is a big, goofy lovebug with a heart to match his size. He could stand to lose a few pounds to get that summer bod (who couldn’t?), and he’s currently working on his leash manners like a champ. The best part? He’s non-reactive on leash and enjoys taking in the world by your side. We’re still getting to know all of Silverware’s quirks, but one thing is already clear, he’s full of love, personality, and so much love. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a home that will give him the patience, stability, and love he’s been waiting so long for.
