Magenta

My story

Magenta is a young (23-month-old) Great Pyranees/Poodle mix. We adopted her from a humane society about 2 months ago. She is incredibly sweet and smart. We've got her caught up on all her vaccinations and done some private training sessions with her. Unfortunately, after we adopted her, we learned that she bit the previous owner's child (supposedly did not break skin but left tooth mark behind the ear). She has been aggressive with our child - she has muzzle-punched him, been rough with her paws, and scratched him - almost as if he is a littermate and she is competing with him for our attention. She loves to be with her preferred person, to sit outside in the backyard and watch the world go by (barking "as needed"), show off her tricks, go for walks, and to snuggle. She's in great health. She does have one tooth that appears broken - the vet said to "keep an eye on it." She is very smart and incredibly affectionate and will make someone (WITHOUT CHILDREN) a wonderful companion.
