My story

Meet Popcorn! The sweetest and most handsome boy. Not only is he one of the most beautiful cats we've ever seen, he's also a total lovebug. He is a purring machine! He starts up whenever he sees his foster mom coming to bring him food and pets. Popcorn LOVES his Churus and will give you lots of head bumps as a thank you. He's a very chill cat - he'll play with some string toys here and there but mostly just likes to hang out in his bed. This sweet boy is so affectionate - he loves to rub on his foster mom's legs and offer his head for scratches. He's not afraid of people and will happily say hello to visitors...especially if they give him a little treat. If you're looking for a sweet and easy cat - Popcorn is your guy!Currently in foster care in Los Feliz. Meet & greets / pickup will be coordinated upon approved application & homecheck video. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
