My story

Meet Winky! 💛 Winky is a gentle, soft-hearted 2-year-old kitty with a shy but incredibly sweet nature. After being found on the streets and given a second chance, he’s now ready to find a forever home where he can truly settle in and feel safe. Winky may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, his affectionate side shines. He loves one-on-one time with his people, leaning into pets, flopping onto his side for head scratches, and quietly keeping you company by your side. He’s not one to demand attention, but he forms meaningful, trusting bonds that make every moment feel special. He would do best in a calm, low-key home where he can decompress at his own pace. While he can be a bit nervous when first approached, Winky gains confidence as he settles in and will begin to explore and engage more once he feels secure. He may be okay with respectful kids (8+) and has previously lived with dogs, though a thoughtful introduction would be important. Winky has a laid-back energy level and enjoys simple pleasures—pouncing on toys, chasing a laser pointer, kneading soft blankets, and lounging near his favorite humans. He’s also very food motivated, which makes building trust (and teaching new routines) that much easier. This handsome boy is looking for someone patient and kind who understands that the best relationships take a little time. In return, Winky will offer a quiet, loving companionship and those heart-melting moments when he chooses you as his safe place. Winky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home
