My story

Meet Delilah, aka "Cocoa Beanie," the curious 2-3 year old and playful pup who's ready to adventure into your heart and home! This brave and funny girl is always up for a good time, whether it's exploring new trails, chasing after toys, or cuddling up on the couch. With her affectionate and friendly nature, she'll quickly become your best friend and loyal companion. Delilah is a smart cookie, too, always keeping you on your toes with her playful antics. She's a true athlete, full of energy and ready to take on the world. Delilah is sure to bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. Could she be the doggy soulmate you have been waiting for? Delilah had a very rough start. She came into the Long Beach Shelter in January with two big hernias from having too many puppies. She was taken right from the shelter and received immediate care with a surgeon. She is better than ever and will not have any long lasting health issues as a result of her ordeal. Delilah truly loves being with her people and all her toys. She really soaks up the one-on-one attention and would do best as the only pet. She has so much love to give and has waited long enough for her people she can shower with loyalty, love and endless playful Frenchie antics.
