My story

~ I can live in a single family home (condos considered).~ I want to live with dog savvy adults only.~ I may like to live with a dog but I have not had much experience with cats. I may be willing to share my home with a feline.~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need a gentle and respectful family who is familiar with reading canine body language.Meet Hodar!Hodar is a 4 year old, medium-sized mixed breed with a striking black and white coat-and an even more striking personality. While hes still new to us, weve quickly learned that hes a super goofy, playful boy who absolutely loves a good game of fetch! This high-energy pup is looking for an active home where he can get plenty of daily exercise and enrichment. Hell thrive with an adopter who enjoys playtime, outdoor adventures, and keeping a smart, busy dog engaged. Hodar would be best suited for a home with dog-savvy adults only. He is sensitive about having his head touched and needs a family who can confidently read canine body language, respect his boundaries, and advocate for his need for space. In the right hands, he has wonderful potential and will form a strong bond built on trust and understanding. He may do well living in a single-family home, with condos considered. Hodar may be open to sharing his home with another dog, given proper introductions, and he has limited experience with cats but may be willing to live with a feline companion as well. With patience, structure, and a respectful approach, Hodar is a fantastic dog with lots of potential, ready to find a home that truly understands him.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hodar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
