Liona

My story

Liona was adopted as a kitten, about a month old, when my mom got her from a friend. She’s been playful and mostly friendly, though her preferred way of playing is biting and scratching — something that hasn’t been an issue in the 6 years she’s been with us. For most of that time she’s been super healthy with no issues. However, we can no longer take care of her. Liona’s main issue is that even though she knows where her litter box is, she pees outside of it. We’ve tried many strategies, and some worked — the last one held for a full year — but recently she started doing it again. On top of that, my grandma, who has been her main caretaker for the past 5 years, has gotten significantly older and can no longer manage it. Soon there will also be people who are allergic to cats in the house.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
