My story

Hello :) Here’s a little about this cat’s personality:     . Bandy has a special talent! It is not a talent that you would expect from a cat, like hunting or making great leaps or balancing precariously on a railing. Those things would be hard to do without eyes.   Bandy was discovered living in a huge apartment house basement, sitting alone with squinty eyes. Though she was clearly blind, her keen sense of smell led her directly into our trap. The vet determined that her eyes didn't work at all and should be removed to avoid infection. That has been done and this one year-old girl is moving bravely on with life.   So what is her special talent? Bandy can charm anyone she meets into instantly falling in love with her. She fearlessly explores any environment. Her impressive blood-curdling scream scares off even tough cats, yet she purrs on contact with a human and will wrap her paws around your neck. Gentle, loving, confident, intelligent, petite, and beautiful are all words to describe Bandy. Come and meet her. You'll see!If you're interested in adopting, please read our website's Adopt page carefully and submit the pre-adoption application. If you have any questions, please email us anytime! animalprojectnyc@gmail.com Also we have weekly adoption event at UWS Petco every Saturday afternoon. Follow us on instagram for more detail! @animalprojectnyc   June 3, 2026, 10:46 am
