My story

Sydney is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved. She is 2 years old. Her birthday is September 22nd, 2023. I adopted her from a shelter in September, and unfortunately, the extent of her needs were not disclosed to me. She likely experienced trauma before I got her, so she can be fearful of strangers and may react defensively when overwhelmed. With patience and proper introductions, she shows her affectionate and loyal personality. She was fully potty trained but has had some recent regression and may need consistency and support during transitions. Sydney would do best in a calm, patient home (ideally with someone experienced with anxious dogs) who can continue working with her and give her the stability she needs to feel safe.
