My story

Juliette (born 3/3/2023) is a beautiful, 9 pound, black and white cat. Originally found in a backyard and brought to the Society with her 5 kittens and her brother, they have all been adopted. Now it is Juliette’s turn to go home. Juliette has very soft fur and is sweet and affectionate to those she knows. Juliette loves looking out of the window, stretching into various yoga poses and napping in the sun. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion. We start the process once you have submitted an application to us.
