My story

Hi, I’m Arnie! I’m a 5-year-old Hound/Great Pyrenees mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart.I’m a silly, lovable guy who lives for snuggles and tummy rubs. When I feel safe and settled, I’m very laid-back and happy to just relax with my people. I’m also naturally protective and take my job of watching over my family seriously—especially little ones—so you’ll always feel safe with me around.I enjoy running and exploring, and I do have a strong prey drive, so I’ll need a secure yard or to be kept on leash during outdoor adventures.I’m currently working on a few things to help me be my best self. I can have some moderate anxiety, especially in new or busy environments, so I do best with a consistent schedule and diet that works well for me.My ideal home would be a calm, stable environment with someone who can give me structure, reassurance, and lots of love. In return, I’ll be your loyal companion, your cuddle buddy, and your devoted protector.
