Meet Harley — a 4-year-old Great Dane with a gentle soul and a heart as big as she is. This sweet, soft, demure girl is looking for a calmer home where she can spend her days doing what she loves most: snuggling up with her favorite people and enjoying leisurely strolls by your side. Harley is the kind of companion who brings a peaceful presence wherever she goes.Harley recently underwent her spay surgery and had a preventative gastropexy performed at the same time, a common procedure in giant breed dogs to help reduce the risk of bloat. She’s recovering beautifully and is ready to settle into her next chapter.She would do best in a home with other like-minded dogs who respect her laid-back personality — no overly pushy or chaotic canine friends for this classy lady, please. Harley may do well with dog-savvy children and could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat, provided introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully. Because of her giant breed needs, experience with Great Danes or other extra-large breeds is preferred.If you’ve been searching for a loving shadow to share your couch, your quiet walks, and your heart, Harley may just be your girl.
