My story

Milly is a very gentle, loving little girl that deserves a forever lap to call her own. Milly is approximately 6-7 years old and looks to be a pure bred shihtzu. She does not shed. This girl loves to hang out around the house, relax, nap, and just be with her foster mom. Milly gets along great with other dogs and lives happily with cats. She would not mind living in a home with other *CALM* animals or living alone. She is not attached to any dogs in the home. She is very easy-going. We have learned Milly is VERY scared of anything super loud – thunderstorms, lightning and fireworks. She goes from super relaxed to so so scared quickly. Please PLEASE make sure you understand that she will need extra help during storms and specific holidays. We think she can even sense bad weather because sometimes before a storm she will get very nervous and start pacing and looking worried. While we do not know her history, sometimes she will wake up crying at night. We don’t know what happened to her or what caused this, but with some sweet talks and pets, she goes right back to sleep. She sleeps in a crate but would prefer to sleep in a bed. Milly is a good with children, but she would prefer children that like to cuddle and watch tv more than be crazy. She pretty much knows how to walk on a leash and would be great with someone who can take her on short walks. Milly will require regular grooming – please take this into consideration before applying. We would love to find Milly that home she has always wanted. Please consider giving it to her. Milly is fixed, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, current on dewormer, current on flea tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption The adoption fee listed ($745) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. THE NEXT TRANSPORT LEAVES THIS FRIDAY – MAY 8TH AND ARRIVES SUNDAY, MAY 10th Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks - Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh, Elkton and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.
