My story

Hello there! My name is Pico. I am a 7-year-old, neutered male, medium size, domestic short-hair, gray cat. They say you can't show an old cat new tricks! That may be so, but you can certainly show this friendly, dignified fellow that a warm, comfy furever home can be filled with love! I am FIV+ which means that I should be a solo cat in a home where I can be indoors only. I also do love me some tasty treats and soft pets! Do I sound absolutely purrfect for your family? Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.
