My story

This pet is part of a bonded pair. She is 10 1/2 years old, low to medium activity level, 18.6 lbs. She loves walks but does not do fetch. She knows 4 basic commands and is house broken as there is a doggie door going to our back patio (although she does have occasional accidents in the house). She is very sweet but has times of being very feisty, gets overly excited around children and does not like loud noises or the chirping sound of a smoke alarm that needs to have the battery changed. She has liver issues and is only daily medication. Also is on prescription dry food. Does not mind having baths but does not like her paws messed with that includes her nails. I have been giving her baths and haircuts. To do her nails, someone needs to be giving her treats to get it done (use a nail grinder). She is allergic to chicken but loves all kinds of fruit. She sleeps with me and is not crate trained. She is not the type to lay in your lap but she does want to be close to you.
