My story

Courtesy Post Meet Dime — a sweet, playful 3-year-old indoor cat looking for a loving new home before the end of June. 💛Dime was adopted in 2023 from a public shelter by an Australian family who had just relocated to the U.S. to help their eldest daughter settle into life here. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside their control, the family now has to move again and cannot take her with them. We have offered to help them find her a new loving home! Dime is a beautiful medium-haired cat with a gentle, easygoing personality. She’s not the type to demand constant cuddles, but she absolutely loves being near her people — following you from room to room, keeping you company throughout the day, and curling up beside you on the couch in the evenings. She’s playful, curious, and has been a cherished indoor-only companion her entire life. She would thrive in a calm home where she can feel safe and loved. Dime would do best without very young children, as she doesn’t enjoy being chased or picked up too much. She previously lived happily with a small poodle, so she may also do well with another calm, cat-friendly dog.
