My story

Malachi is a sweet, gentle dog who loves quietly but deeply. He is slow to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is devoted — happiest curled up in your lap, giving the daintiest little kisses.I want to be honest about his challenges. Malachi has fear and anxiety that developed a few months after coming to live with me. He is scared of many things, and his fear can make him reactive. He has had professional training and has never bitten, but the potential exists with any fearful dog, and his next home needs to understand that.Ideal home: experienced with anxious dogs, calm and quiet, adults or older dog-savvy kids, willing to continue his training at his pace.I am fully committed to a smooth transition — proper meet and greet, follow-up visits if needed, and sharing everything I know about his triggers, routine, and what makes him feel safe.With the right person, Malachi will give you his whole heart.
