Remi

My story

Remi was born 5/24/22 to a pregnant stray who was rescued off the streets. We brought her home at 8 weeks old. She immediately bonded deeply with our Great Pyrenees and was inseparable from him until he passed recently. She thrives alongside big dogs and has only ever met them with cuddles and affection. She also adores other cats and plays constantly with our older boy cat. She’s calm, gentle, playful, and social, but animals are her people. She prefers her dog and cat siblings over humans, though she warms up to the family she lives with. She also loves supervised time outdoors. Ideal home: an adult household with a cat-friendly dog, another easygoing cat, or both. Older kids who respect her space could work for her. When our child started walking, Remi began marking in two specific corners. We believe it’s anxiety from a small unpredictable human in her space, and expect she’ll settle in a calmer home.
