My story

SPONSORED ADOPTION FEE! A generous donor has stepped up and offered to cover $200 of Pippa's adoption fee! Sad circumstances for Pippa and her housemate Gracie. Pippa's owner passed and she has not had proper care over the past year. Despite the rough time, her foster says that she is the PERFECT dog. Pippa is very calm, easy, quiet, and good with dogs, cats, and kids. She is also housetrained and has done scent work (training at minimum, not sure if competed) when she was younger. She seems to know a few basic commands - she knows SIT for sure. She seeks attention and is very sweet and patient. She proved her amazing demeanor as her hair was so matted; it took 4 hours to shave 5 pounds of hair from her. She did not growl, try to bite, or even lift a lip! (See her before and after pics). Pippa did not receive appropriate exercise over the past year, so her muscle atrophy is pretty severe. She will need some work to regain that muscle mass, such as slow walks, and practicing her SIT. Pippa deserves a second chance, and believe us, she is well worth the effort! Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pippa, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
