Balsamic Vinaigrette

My story

Balsamic Vinaigrette is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Tiny Balsamic came to us with her momma, Ensalada, and her 7 siblings from Texas in mid- April at just 3 weeks old. Ensalada and her pups arrived in rough shape, they were flea infested and anemic. Balsamic was in the worst shape and required a blood transfusion to help her get healthy. She is now a healthy, active puppy that is ready to find a family to love and spoil her the way she deserves to be! While Balsamic is the smallest of her siblings, that doesn't hold her back! She is ready to romp and wrestle with everyone, but is also very attentive and loving with her human pals. She is very treat motivated and has been picking up on 'Sit'. She will often sit at our feet waiting for a yummy treat to reward her good behavior! Balsamic is eager to please, loves enrichment, and is so affectionate! Balsamic was lucky enough to go to a foster home for a few days while we were closed to the public. Her foster mom writes, "Balsamic is sweetest little snuggle bug with the biggest heart! This sweet girl will win you over with her "play hard, nap hard" motto of life. This smart girl has picked up on potty training so fast she’s ready for anything else you throw her way. If you’re looking for a velcro cuddle companion, Balsamic is the perfect girl for you hands down." She is everything someone could want in a pup, so we hope you will come and meet her soon! Balsamic's adoption fee is $450. This animal is spayed, and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age. They will need a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age and a Heartworm test between 6-7 months of age at the adopter's own vet. Since she is a puppy, any adopter should anticipate needing to work on housebreaking and other training using positive reinforcement training only.
