My story

🐾 Meet Lucy! 🐾 At just 13 weeks old, Lucy is a spirited Cairn Terrier mix with a heart full of adventure and legs made for exploring! This little girl is always ready for the next journey, whether it’s a hike, camping trip, neighborhood walk, or simply discovering everything your backyard has to offer. Lucy is an independent pup who doesn’t need constant attention to be happy. She’s confident, curious, and loves doing her own thing. If you’re looking for a dog that’s always in your lap, Lucy probably isn’t your girl—but if you’re looking for a fun, active companion who will happily join you on life’s adventures, she’s ready to pack her bags! Those long legs come with one important note—Lucy is quite the climber and can work her way out of fencing, so she must have a secure, escape-proof yard to keep her safe. Lucy is already kennel trained and potty trained using a doggy door, giving her a great head start for her new family. She gets along well with other dogs and children, while her opinion of cats is still unknown. We expect Lucy to weigh around 20 pounds fully grown, making her the perfect sized sidekick for an active lifestyle.
