My story

Meet Apollo, a truly exceptional dog looking for his forever home.We adopted Apollo as a puppy from Woods Humane Society in April 2025, and from day one he has been an incredible companion. He has a calm, loving temperament and quickly became part of every family adventure: camping trips, beach walks, road trips, restaurants, and puppy training classes with our 9-year-old son.Apollo is crate trained, leash trained, fully potty trained, and knows several commands. He loves to cuddle, relax on the couch, and be near his people, but he also enjoys walks and hikes. He is affectionate, goofy, and has a way of winning over everyone he meets.Sadly, our older dog became aggressive toward Apollo, and they can no longer safely live together, despite our best efforts. This heartbreaking decision is not a reflection of Apollo, he truly is a wonderful dog. We believe he would thrive as the only dog in a loving home where he can be his happy, affectionate self.
