Murphy

My story

Murphy was given to me about two weeks ago by my ex. We found her and rescued her about 6 years ago. She was only a few months old, her ribs were showing, and she had a lot of bug bites all over her. For over a year she was the sweetest and most playful girl with my lab/pit mix. As she got closer to being two years old she started showing dominance toward my female eventually resulting in an attack and serious bite. This happened one more time. Murphy never challenged my male dog. We broke up and me and my two dogs moved out. My ex kept Murphy. I haven’t seen Murphy in about 4 years. My ex contacted me in April asking if I would take her and I said no because of the history with both girls. The situation changed and I’ve had her for about two weeks. The situation is not working. She is an amazing dog, just not with other females. I have to keep her on a leash with a muzzle on to keep her from my girl. It’s extremely stressful and has caused a lot of intense energy and stress.
