Rocks

My story

Meet Rocks! He loves people & being petted. He grew up in a house with 3 kids & 3 cats and is very comfortable around them and often nuzzles or licks any willing friend. His personality is goofy and happy. He gets excited when people come home and is ready to greet you. He is not a very active dog and likes his naps. He does enjoy short walks around the block or short bursts of play. He is getting older (about age 12) but, he is still very energetic. He climbs up and down 3-4 stairs off of our deck to go outside multiple times a day, but he does struggle with longer staircases. We are looking to find a better situation for Rocks than what he currently gets at home. Our children are grown and we travel quite a bit so he is often left alone for long periods or we pay for doggy sitters. We are not able to tend to his grooming or companion needs like we used to. We feel bad for him, as he would be a fun, sweet doggy addition for many families who would have more time to enjoy him.
