My story

Meet Beau, a 2-year-old pit bull mix looking for a fresh start. Beau came to WARL alongside his friend, Willow, when their owner fell on difficult times and could no longer care for them. This handsome boy is a sweet, gentle soul who takes comfort in kindred spirits. While busy or chaotic environments can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for him, he takes things in stride and enjoys spending time with his people. Beau previously lived with another and may benefit from having a confident canine companion to help him feel at home. We think Beau would be happiest in a quieter home where he can settle in, feel comfortable, and spend time enjoying life`s simple pleasures with his new family. If you are interested in adopting Beau, please visit the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 12-4 pm during our walk-in hours. If you are unable to come during those times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what other times may be available by appointment.
