671 (2026) Bluebell

My story

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Family Pet / Fresca Fund in Forth Worth, Texas at about six months old. Bluebell was picked up by animal control as a stray, suspected to have been hit by a car, requiring corrective FHO surgery on 3/11/26 and subsequent rehabilitation. Her back, left leg has indications of surgical repair; it's straight at the joint where it's typically held slightly at an angle. From the foster: Bluebell has an infectious zest for life. Her friendly disposition wins her friends everywhere she goes. She stays busy by playing with toys and taking in beautiful Colorado during walks. She sleeps in a crate at night and is mostly house trained. She absolutely loves to spend time with my resident 8-year old dog and she'll wrestle with him any chance he's feeling up for it. She does benefit from some human-enforced breaks during play time with dogs. She'd do best in a home without young kids because she's working on her manners. I haven't seen her with a cat, but she'd likely be a bit too interested in them. The world is just so exciting at this age! Since she has the typical energy of a ~6 month old puppy, she'd absolutely love to join an active household. Walks, fetch and being around her people are her love language. Her leg injury, likely from getting hit by a car, sure doesn't slow her down. Ready for a lovable, scruffy goofball who is full of life? Bluebell is just your gal.
