Hank

My story

Hank is an adorable and loving 3-year-old boy. He was rescued from a cat colony where other cats were stealing his food. We think he was never a feral cat but may have been abandoned. When we first brought him home, he hid under the bed, but within a week, he was purring on my lap, gazing adoringly at me!However, while Hank loves humans, he hates other cats, and we have two others, one of them elderly. Hank needs to be an only pet, but he will be all you need! He will be your loyal and devoted best friend: purring, rubbing his cheeks against you, and cuddling in bed. Because he forms such a deep bond with his humans, he would thrive in a home where someone is around during the day: a remote or part-time worker, or a retiree.Hank is wonderful, playful, and so, so special. He just needs a chance: a home with a gentle, patient human or two whom he can trust. Give him space and time, some catnip toys, and an occasional treat, and watch him blossom.
