Meet Meredith – A Gentle Heart Waiting to Trust Again 💕Meredith is a beautiful 2-year-old Chihuahua who was rescued from the county shelter and given a second chance at life. We believe she may even be Pita's mother, though we'll never know for sure. What we do know is that Meredith has a tender soul and deserves a family who will cherish her forever.Life has taught Meredith to be cautious. She is very shy when meeting new people and needs patience, understanding, and time to feel safe. But for those willing to move at her pace, Meredith quietly reveals the sweetest, most loving personality. She is gentle, quiet, and content to simply be near the people she trusts.Meredith is house trained and does wonderfully with other small dogs. She would thrive in a calm household with a securely fenced backyard where she can safely explore and enjoy the sunshine. Because of her sensitive nature, we recommend a home with older, respectful children who understand that trust is earned, not rushed.This lovely girl is spayed, fully vet checked, current on vaccines, licensed, and microchipped. All she needs now is a family willing to open their hearts and give her the time she needs to blossom.Some dogs ask for attention the moment you meet them. Meredith asks for something different — a chance. A chance to learn that she is safe, loved, and finally home.
