My story

Who can resist that face? This handsome little fellow is Charley...9 full pounds of love! Charley is a 3 yo long-haired chihuahua mix who loves snuggling, playing fetch, and rough housing with his doggy cousins. He walks politely on leash (though he sometimes barks at other dogs), and when he's off leash he stays near his mom.Charley is 50/50 with cats...some he likes, some he doesn't. He gets along with confident, friendly dogs but not those who show any nerves or aggression. He never shows any aggression with his mom, but with his new dad he guards his food, his toys, and his mom (though this is getting better). Charley is NOT good with children—they're too loud and unpredictable for him—which is why his mom needs to rehome him, as she now has young grandchildren who visit her home regularly.Because of his resource guarding, Charley needs a patient, experienced dog owner. For the right adopter, he will be an absolutely devoted, loving companion for life!
