Rex and Lexi are ready to find their “Forever Homes.” They are 6 month old mixed breed pups. Lexi is 15lb and Rex is 13 lb. We don’t expect them to get much bigger. They are both affectionate, sweet, spunky pups They tend to be a little reserved at first but once they are comfortable its kisses galore. They may have some chihuahua in them because they do shake when being introduced to new environments or people but it does not last long. They love nothing more than chasing each other around in their fenced in backyard. Then they come inside and its “naptime.” They live cohesively with the other dogs in their foster home and the resident cat. More often than not you will find the cat sunbathing outside while the pups are playing. They also LOVE children. At our last adoption event they had 3 or 4 children in their puppy pen at all times during the event keeping them company and they loved it. More laps for them to crawl into. They are not nippy at all. They are doing great with house training. They are not crate trained because they have their own room in their Foster Home. They are in a crate when they are transported to adoption events and don’t seem to mind at all. They will both need a family that is patient and committed to all their puppy training Including continued housebreaking, crate training and socialization etc. They are both microchipped and have been spayed and neutered. They are also up to date on all their age appropriate vaccinations. They will do well being adopted together or separately. Their Foster Mom thinks that having these two together will be easier than separate. They sleep together, play together and just enjoy each other immensely. They share everything.
