My story

Meet Snickers: a gentle, 8‑year‑old sweetheart with a soft spirit and a lot of love to give. She was rescued as a kitten from a backyard “farm” and has grown into a sensitive, observant girl who finds comfort in quiet moments. Snickers loves watching birds from the backyard, sunbathing on windowsills, and choosing a cozy spot when the house gets busy.She’s skittish by nature and doesn’t like to be carried (we’ve been practicing), and loud noises or quick movements can startle her. But when the world is calm, Snickers blossoms. She’ll trot ahead of you and hop onto a chair or console to meet your hand for long, contented pets. She is tender, trusting, and so ready to bond — she just needs patience and a gentle routine to feel safe.We adore her, and it breaks our hearts to part with her. We’re moving out of the country, and we know the long drive and international flight would be too stressful for her. We’re looking for a calm, loving home — someone who appreciates a quiet companion.
