My story

Zoe is about 1 1/2 years old, approximately 40 pounds, she’s a hound mix. On the application I had to pick a reason, the choice was not available…so I marked behavior issues, the real problem is she needs someone younger (I’m 74). She needs more exercise than I can give her. She walks well on a leash but will pull when she sees an unknown dog and that’s when I’m not strong enough.Dog door trained, house trained, crate trained and eats in her crate and rests in it. I don’t leave her in the crate because she’s dog door trained. She sleeps on my bed. She’s dog friendly with an introduction, needs a fenced yard as she is prey driven.I adopted her December 2025 , she will do anything for treats, sits and knows down. She is very sweet and happy, she just needs someone who can spend more time with her and is younger.
