Bear

My story

Bear is an approximately 2-year-old rescue who deserves a home with an experienced owner. We adopted him hoping to give him a fresh start, but despite our love, patience, and consistency, we've realized our home is not the right fit. He is such a loving guy, he will be your shadow and he's a great protector of his home. Bear has some anxiety & snipped or attempted to bite multiple people, is reactive around children, has snipped when my husband picks up our kids, and has become reactive toward one of our other pets. We have young children, and we can no longer safely manage his behaviors. This decision has been heartbreaking because we truly love him and wanted this to work. We believe Bear would do best in an adult-only home with someone experienced in working with behaviorally complex dogs who can provide the structure and environment he needs to thrive. We will be completely honest about his history because finding the right home is our priority.
