My story

Say hello to Valencia, an adorable, occasionally opinionated young tabby. Valencia enjoys loving pets on her cheeks and chin (but not her tail) and will let you know when she’s had her fill. She will thrive in a home with adopters who understand how cats communicate and who know how to respect a cat's boundaries; for this reason, Valencia will do best in a home with older children who can follow directions. The best way to keep a smart girl like Valencia happy is to offer shorter, structured interactions along with regular enrichment. She will undoubtedly be a loving family member. Is Valencia the cat for you? If you are an experienced cat owner living in a home without young children and you can offer her patience while she settles into a new environment, she just might be!
