My story
Phoenix is a very healthy and energetic 5yr old 60lb gsd mix who aims to please her people. We adopted her last September off of a euthanasia scheduled at ACCT in Philadelphia and found out early on that she does not want to share her home space with our older female dog or cat. We have since tried training, isolation, daycare, and other options but to no avail. She gets along great with other dogs at Doggy Daycare and Pet Hotel stays, but she NEEDS to be in an "only dog/animal" environment at home. She is trainable, but the two female dog compatibility issue is beyond our resources to fix.We are in the Baltimore area, but willing to transport if you are able to foster/adopt.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Phoenix, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
