My foster named me that because of my cute little meows and meeps! I came to Good Home from a shelter in Long Island, along with my 6 babies. I was a loving and attentive mother but now that my babies are out of the nest, I’m re-learning how to be an independent lady, enjoying all the new experiences in foster care!I’m a sweet girl who likes to be near my foster humans and loves receiving gentle pats and scratches. I’m not a lap cat, but I like to sleep near my people and have recently gotten comfortable with being picked up and invited to sit next to my fosters. I can be shy at first and need some time to warm up, but with patience and understanding I become curious and affectionate. Once I decide I like you, I can be a little chatty. I make the cutest meows and chirps to ask you where you are. I’m an inquisitive girl who loves a window to look out at the goings on of the world; you can often find me curled up on a windowsill observing the action outside! When I’m not hanging with my human or watching the world, I have a playful side. I am happy to play with my people or play solo – I love balls and destroying mouse toys – and when I’m in the mood I have been known to gleefully run laps around my home! I would be happiest in a quiet, moderately active home with patient people who respect my independence but also enjoy my company and affection. I have previously lived with my kittens, but right now I’m really enjoying being a single cat. I might be able to live with another cat, if they respect my boundaries and match my energy. I really don’t like loud noises or sudden movements, so I would do best in a home without small children or dogs. I’d make a wonderful companion for a person who admires my independence, enjoys my curiosity, and is always ready to give me love and attention. Could that be you?
